Originally from New York, Ashley possesses a talent for capturing people's photographs, coupled with a genuine interest in their stories. Her portfolio includes subjects ranging from renowned chefs and athletes to artists and indigenous tribes. She has spent many years traveling focusing her work on different cultures around the world.

Ashley's photography has been showcased worldwide as part of campaign launches for Olympus Cameras and Canon. Additionally, she has been published by Luster Publishing for her photography on the book, ‘Hidden Beers of Belgium’. She has also received several awards, including the title of Best New Beer Writer, 2 years in a row, for her project titled 'Humans of Belgian Beer’, written for Belgian Smaak. This project
combines photography and storytelling, shedding light on the individuals within the Belgian beer industry.

In her most recent project, ’Menschen aus Ostbelgien’ she learned about the culture of East Belgium by taking pictures and sharing stories of local people. This project has been exhibited and sponsored by the Belgian Government in Brussels, St. Vith and Atlanta, Georgia; showcasing the interesting lives and traditions of the people from the region.
